Health measures
Dear patients, dear patients,
We ask for your help and support
As you know, the mandatory mask directive in health care facilities ended on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at midnight. Despite this, several hospitals in the region have decided to continue to require the wearing of masks in their establishments and we have decided to do the same.
We are slowly returning to a more normal life. But despite all this progress, every day Ontarians are hospitalized with COVID and many of them are in intensive care. Residents of Ontario are still dying from this disease.
At the clinic, we are responsible for providing care to a vulnerable population, which is at very high risk of complications related to COVID. Wearing a mask has demonstrated an increased reduction in the risk of transmission of COVID as well as any other airborne disease. So in order to protect our most at-risk patients, all doctors and clinic staff will continue to wear the mask. We also ask all our patients to continue to wear a mask during clinic visits out of respect and consideration for our most at-risk patients for whom we must ensure a safe environment.
CONTINUE TO BE CAREFUL
Whether you come for an appointment or to pick up documents, the receptionist will ask you for a pre-screening questionnaire before you enter.
Sanitize your hands at the door and try to stay 2 m (6 ft) away from other people.
We have put markings on the ground and limited the number of chairs in the waiting room
If the waiting room begins to get crowded, you may be asked to return to your car and wait there.
Your doctor is still offering virtual visits for routine issues.
Evening and Saturday Clinic:
All evening clinics will be by appointment only. There will be no walk-in clinic. The same procedures as for the day clinic will apply.
Thank you for your collaboration ,
